The Long Hill Township Historic Sites Survey
It began in 1986 when Society members helped inventory local sites as part of a county wide project. Today, the Long Hill Township Historical Society has amassed a list of hundreds of homes and businesses with about 70 cataloged as Historic. Some of which have received local, county or federal honors.
A historic site may be any building, landscape or structure that is significant to Long Hill Township’s cultural heritage. The Historical Society evaluates these sites according to the standards set by the National Register of Historic Places.
