Open to the public this free event is sponsored by the Long Hill Historical Society. Archivist Gary D. Saretzky will discuss the history of photography in New Jersey with emphasis on the photographers in Morris County.

Of the approximately 3,000 different photographers who were active in New Jersey before 1900, a number lived or worked in Morris County and vicinity. Mr. Saretzky will profile these pioneers and discuss them within the larger context of New Jersey photography in the nineteenth century.
