ARCHITECTURAL DESCRIPTION: Rear lean to addition gives
salt box shape to house. Small window openings
suggest an early date for original
construction.
Faces south to Long Hill Road, quite close to road. Well landscaped corner lot. Skyline Drive is a relatively new road lined with 1960-70 residences. SURROUNDING ENVIRONMENT
Although covered with siding a renovated extensively, the form, windows, and location of this house suggest a 18th century construction date. The house appears in the 1868 and 1887 Atlases of Morris County as the residence of W. Cooper and Mrs. J. W. Thompson, respectively.
