SURROUNDING ENVIRONMENT
This house is reputed to have been constructed for a relative of the neighboring Boyle-Benson House (survey #1430-60). The proximity of the two houses to each other, yet set quite far from the established roads, supports this theory. The house appears to have been constructed in the 19th century, although neither the 1868 or the 1887 Atlases note a building at this location.
