ARCHITECTURAL DESCRIPTION: Barn-like building dominated
by a concrete grain elevator. The relatively new
building echoes the traditional lines of mills and
barns.
South of railroad tracks, on southern edge of Millington Village. SURROUNDING ENVIRONMENT
A modern, one story light industrial building across the road. SIGNIFICANCE & HISTORICAL INFORMATION The original 19th century feed mill burned to the ground in 1918. The present building was rebuilt along the lines of the earlier one, incorporating the 1917 grain silo which survived the fire. Runyons started selling oil in 1937. Feed and other farming implements were discontinued in the 1950's.
