ARCHITECTURAL DESCRIPTION: Shingle style addition across

with round-arched openings. Shed dormers with
multi-light windows. Enclosed gable end and

Screened from busy road by large evergreens. Ruins of carriage house to rear of property. SURROUNDING ENVIRONMENT
SIGNIFICANCE & HISTORICAL INFORMATION The house is an unusual combination of Queen Anne and Shingle Style details on a plain vernacular farmhouse. The result is architecturally awkward, but comfortable. The core farmhouse to the structure is reported to have been moved to the site. This is likely as there is no building on the property in the 1886 or 1887 Atlases of Morris County.
